It offers a sandy sunning area along Charlotte Harbor, plus boat ramps, basketball and tennis courts, picnic tables and a dog park. It also has a large swim- ming pool that offers aerobics, swimming lessons and cool open swim. VENICE VENICE BEACH 101 The Esplanade, Venice (at the west end of West Venice Avenue) The unique "sail" style pavilion at the beach is an iconic landmark along with the beach restroom building. The beach is in city limits but is maintained by Sarasota County, including its concession area. Parking is free and lifeguards are available. Camping is not allowed on the beach and fi res are also prohibited.
