communities
by connecting all people to their
potential, purpose, and each other.
Since President and CEO, Gene
T.
Jones's
arrival in 2019, the
organization has experienced
significant growth
and expansion.

every child,
individual and family has access
to our life-changing services," said
Jones.
Every
day,
the Y strengthens
communities for kids, adults,
seniors and families with programs
that protect, teach, connect,
heal, nourish and encourage.
In 2022, YMCA of Southwest
Florida served 58,527 individuals
through
programs
dedicated to
youth development, healthy living,
and social responsibility. It also
provided $1,240,713 in scholarship
assistance to ensure
every individual
had access to YMCA services and
programs.
Venice YMCA is a branch of
YMCA of Southwest Florida. On its
campus at 701 Center Road, the Y is
home to a state-of-the-art wellness
facility, SKY Academy Venice, an
Early Learning
Academy,
youth
development center, leadership
center,
gymnasium, gymnastic
center, and an Olympic size pool.
YMCA of Southwest Florida was
named a 2022 Top WorkPlace and
its Venice
location was named Best
Charter School, Best Childcare
Center, Best Fitness Center, Best
Non-Profit and Best Weight Loss
Center in the Venice Gondolier's
2022 Best of Venice Awards.
