In recent years, Keith's daughters — Janene Aul, Jacqueline Smith and Cara Spencer — have grabbed the reins as company principals. Keith continues to support the company in an advisory role. Systel is a bustling, three-pronged business operation. Systel Business Equipment has an eye for innovation and a commitment to the products it offers. The multifaceted approach ensures success at all levels. Systel recognizes quickly changing business needs and tests the latest technology in its own endeavors to make sure its products feature the latest workflow applications and have the highest level of data security. As Systel grew, Allison simultaneously acquired business parks and stand-alone buildings in various markets . This led to the creation of Allison Real Estate Group, which consists of over 1 million square feet in commercial real estate and more than 100 residences throughout North Carolina. It is housed in the recognizable 225 Green Street building in downtown Fayetteville and is supported by a capable team of property managers and maintenance staff. In 2021, Systel purchased Woodlake Country Club, a semi-private golf course in Vass, N.C. The talented Systel team has assisted in navigating the development and construction process of the property, which will be managed by Bobby Jones Links. Memberships will be launching in August 2023. The club will open the golf course and other amenities starting this fall and into the spring of 2024. The project includes a restored Ellis Maples golf course and practice facilities, clubhouse, pool, volleyball and basketball courts, and indoor and outdoor pickleball courts. Dam restoration allows for use of the lake, plus a dock, boat slips and a marina, and residential and commercial development are planned. Keith has taken a keen interest in the redevelopment and has enjoyed his new hobby of acquiring the machinery and equipment necessary to revitalize Woodlake as a beloved community jewel. Janene, Jacqueline and Cara, affectionately known as the "Systel Sisters," have embraced their father's vision and are committed to growth, innovation and sustainability as well as leading Systel into its next era of success.
