Georgia Sellman, Owner 928-927-3594 Quartzsite Town Hall and staff held a retirement party for Cristobal Lara, after working 27 years for the Town of Quartzsite. Staff members cooked up a delicious Mexican meal for all the attendees. Quartzsite Pub- lic Works Director shared Cristobal was the 11th employee of the Town. Cristobal is known for greeting staff every morning with his singing and a bit of dancing along with his great smile. Town Manager Jim Ferguson said, "We will miss you and your smiling face around town hall. We so often take simple things for granted, but you always got it done!" Tracy Hess, Community Development Director said, "I don't think there's anyone out there who doesn't like you, Cristobal! The staff got to- gether and purchased some gifts for your retirement." There was laughter and tears as staff and council members said goodbye to a very dedicated employee. Enjoy your retirement!
