5 Sam Jackson Macalester College – Political Science (Pre-Law) or Game Design The advising gods smiled upon me when I got you, Sam, as my advisee. You are the anchor of our advising group! I don't know what I'll do without you. I'm so grateful to have you in my advising group for these past six years. I'll miss you greatly! –Amy Meyers, advisor Enzo Karam University of Kansas – International Business with a Minor in Arabic Enzo, you have brought life and humor to our advising group! I have seen you grow from a child to a young man ready to take on new challenges. Please do not lose your humor; use it to help you get through the rough patches that you will be faced with in each new phase of your life. Thank you for all the contributions you have made to Seabury! –Scott Rowe, advisor Celia Liu University of Kansas Celia always wears a constant smile, shares a welcoming hello, and is attentive to detail in her efforts in my class; and each time, she offers a thank-you as we part ways. I can always count on Celia to be involved with advising activities, and I will remember her as one of the bright spots of my tenure at Bishop Seabury." –Ron Young, advisor Darwin "Pancho" Metz University of Kansas – Business Analytics with a Minor in Public Administration You are the voice of justice. You are not only aware of injustice, but you are also vocal about these injustices and you want change. You are ready for this next step in your life. When life becomes too unfair, so difficult, almost impossible, please look back at all you have done here and continue forward with confidence! –Scott Rowe, advisor Oona Nelson Fort Lewis College – Kinesiology and Physiology & Cycling Oona is most known for her fearless attitude. She gives it her all on the soccer field, on the basketball court, during volleyball games, and while mountain-bike racing. Oona's fearless attitude does not just apply to sports, but to life. Our advising will miss hearing the stories from Oona's adventures! –Shane Richmond, advisor Beck Oldridge Northumbria University in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England – International Business and Soccer I think most students, parents, and teachers know Beck as a powerhouse on the soccer field, and that is true. He is a fearsome foe, a marvelous athlete, and a ridiculously talented musician. Beck is also a passionate advocate for school culture and student engagement, loves ideas and debate, and simply has a zeal for life and excellence. –Don Schawang, advisor Edie Patterson Columbia University – English Edie is an extremely intelligent, kind, patient young woman who has garnered respect from all our advising with her astute observations of the world around her. We love you, Edie, and thanks for putting up with us! We will miss you, and we're excited to see what you do with writing! –Amanda Lovett, advisor Pablo Pena University Francisco de Vitoria, Madrid – Mathematical Engineering Pablo is such a joy to be around. He's jumped into our community with both feet, excelling in classes, in various sports, and building lifelong friendships. He will be missed next year, but we're all going to be on the lookout for what he does next! –Haley Bajorek, advisor Will Richards University of Kansas - Computer Science The words that will always come to my mind when I think of you are quiet and steadfast. You have a way of saying the truth without offending because you can do so without judgment. Keep this quality. Most of us have to work hard to develop this. Thank you for all that you have given to our Seabury community and our advising group! –Scott Rowe, advisor Miles Roggero University of Kansas Kindness and positivity are two qualities underrated in the world, and Miles possesses both in spades. He is the big brother in our group without even intending it, and his optimism rubs off on everyone, including me. I will especially miss chatting with him, but I know he's off to bigger and better things! – Michael Pulsinelli, advisor Owen Ross Missouri University of Science and Technology – Chemical Engineering Owen Ross is mature beyond his years, has a great sense of humor, and is an outstanding student both in and out of the classroom. He has brought his positive energy and kindness to our advising group for the past seven years, and we will miss his sense of style and sense of humor. Keep being yourself and exploring the world, Owen! –Kara Schrader, advisor Shamus Sawyer University of Kansas – Mechanical Engineering Shamus is a beam of sunshine in our advising group, and it will be a little less bright when he is gone! Shamus has really grown into his role as "big brother" and has been such a great role model for his "little siblings," showing everyone how to be cool and kind at the same time. I'll miss his smile next year! –Sonja Czarnecki, advisor Gray Werner University of Miami (Ohio) – Psychology and Neuroscience Leadership, responsibility, and enjoyment. Three words that I would use to describe Gray Werner. Whenever there was a project that we would take on, Gray would fill all those roles. I feel that his experiences at Seabury will continue into his college days and the careers that follow: leadership, responsibility, and enjoyment. You will be deeply missed, Gray. –Ron Young, advisor
