Public visibility, relationships, resources and positive feedback are extremely valuable for small business owners, as well as larger, more established local companies. e Bella Vista Business Association (BVBA) was founded in 1982. Since its inception, members have enjoyed group advertising, educational opportunities, the sharing of ideas, new customer referrals, and the power of relationships. Eligibility Any local business, professional person or nonprofit group in Northwest Arkansas and Southwest Missouri is eligible for BVBA membership. e Application for Membership is available online. An annual membership is currently $85. Business Meetings Our membership meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month. We will have six morning and six evening meetings. ese meetings provide an opportunity to network, receive referrals, and hear interesting business-related programs. Community We will host our first Trick or Treat Town this year. Additional community activities and outreach are also being considered. Business Directory Every year we print a membership directory promoting you, your business name, location and contact information, and include a description of your business. In addition, you may also want to purchase an ad layout to get noticed even more. ese directories are distributed by the thousands! Website BellaVistaBusiness.com is our online hub. e website helps to support and keep the Association unified. One of its great benefits is that it allows you to see who belongs to the Association and easily find others when you have a need or a customer lead or referral. At the BVBA, we support our own! e website is also a means to promote yourself amongst the other members. Public viewers will find an updated "category" field that makes it easy for customers seeking specific products and services to find a business that meets their needs and then SHOP LOCAL. Market Exposure Another great benefit of the BVBA is the indirect advertising you gain through your affiliation with the Association. We use various digital and printed media for exposure and, at times, businesses within the membership are spotlighted in our posts and articles. Additionally, an individual/business is offered an opportunity at the monthly meetings to speak to the group and provide an overview of their business. Let it be you!
