DELT'S RETURN TO CAMPUS DELT'S RETURN TO CAMPUS
L
ast March, the university approved Beta Alpha's return to
campus. In July, I met the two Delts who spearheaded the
recolonization of Beta Alpha: Chapter Leadership Consultants
Andrew Krawczyk, Theta Eta '22, and Sage Aucoin,
Epsilon Psi '22. These good Delts seemed young for such
a monumental task, but their enthusiasm was contagious.
Utilizing a substantial number of alumni recommendations,
they spent a month on campus beating the bushes for recruits,
convincing 89 great guys that Delta Tau Delta was the right fit.
Throughout the semester, a few of those guys figured
out that they were not on board with membership in a
fraternity—but the rest have worked very hard to get the
colony where it is now. These young men are ready to
petition the Arch Chapter to recharter Beta Alpha as a
chapter of Delta Tau Delta. Andrew and Sage are owed a
debt of gratitude that we will never be able to repay.
It is incumbent on the alumni to take the reins and help
the colony become the chapter we all hope it can be. To
that end, please search your neighborhoods, churches, and
friends to find out about incoming freshmen who should be
candidates for membership in Delta Tau Delta. If we sign
incoming freshmen before July 4, they will be able to move
into the Shelter in August.
Fraternally,
