Overall, I am very much looking forward to my last couple semesters at UGA and look forward to continuing to partner with Jack Tucker #2590 in making Georgia Alpha the best Phi Delta eta chapter in the nation. Brotherhood Chairman Jack Liskey #2616 As a fraternity, brotherhood remains a major focus and avenue for us to strengthen all of our involvements as a group of men. By working to create connections not only within pledge classes but also between brothers of different ages, we have seen greater buy-in as a group. As brotherhood chairman, I am excited to facilitate this bond by continually working to organize new events that will bring every brother together to socialize. ese events include outdoor basketball, pool tournaments, and watching baseball at our beloved Greenhouse. All of these provide our brothers with opportunities to enhance friendships over things they enjoy. By the end of the semester, I hope to see a brotherhood that is tighter unit than it was in the fall, creating momentum leading into the fall semester when we will initiate a new group Phikeia into our brotherhood. Philanthropy Chairman Hector Padilla #2633 Our main goals this year on the philanthropy side were to expand our Adopt-a-Family program and maintain our strong tradition of service for those affected by ALS. Both goals have been accomplished, with the addition of a third family in the spring of this year, as well as defending our No. 1 fundraiser title through Iron Phi (by a $10,000+ margin). We've taken part in various projects throughout the year, whether that be miscellaneous yardwork projects requested by our families, Christmas light hanging, volunteering with the Hope Loves Company, or our annual highway cleanup. We are always looking to not only make a positive impact on society but also foster a sense of brotherhood and community within the fraternity. With the addition of our latest and greatest pledge class, I've seen a significant increase in the desire to serve among members of our chapter. I'm excited to foster this interest and continue expanding our program to fit the chapter's goals and the servant leader disposition of our brotherhood. Chapter Updates Continued from page 3
