lambda chi alpha SPRING 2023 EDITION ALPHA ETA NEWSLETTER oklahoma state university alumni association alpha eta Success through Success through Alumni Support Alumni Support Stay Involved with Alpha Eta I hope this latest issue of AH News finds you and your family well. Our active members on campus continue to represent Alpha Eta in the best way possible, earning honors such as Most Improved Chapter by IFC and top ΛΧΑ Chapter in the nation. WHAT TO EXPECT In this edition of the newsletter, you can read more about the active brotherhood's accomplishments, recruitment efforts, and goals for the year. We are also proud to share the story of Vince Kirkes AH1402 in a special feature article. Vince expressed his passion for recruitment, and you too can help grow our brotherhood by submitting a recruitment referral. Be sure to check the back of this newsletter issue for more details. THANK YOU, GENEROUS DONORS Our donor display for the capital campaign is complete! As you can see in the photo, the selfless brothers who contributed are prominently recognized in the foyer of the Chapter House. Thank you again to everyone who expressed their lifelong devotion to Lambda Chi Alpha by contributing to our campaign. At this time, I'd also like to remind brothers to keep paying on any outstanding pledges you may have—your contributions greatly help us in paying down our mortgage. We are still accepting contributions toward reducing the mortgage, so your extended generosity would be greatly appreciated. HOMECOMING PREPARATION As you may know, Alpha Eta is still seeking equipment in preparation for Homecoming. In a recent email update, we shared the following wish list: • Gas or diesel engine welders (Miller Bobcat, Miller Trailblazer, Hobart Champion Elite, Miller Big Blue, etc.) • Minimum 40-foot 4x4 boom lift • Minimum 25-foot off-road scissor lift • Towable light towers • Medium-duty victor-style cutting torch • Oxygen and acetylene regulators • Oxygen and acetylene torch cart Please reach out to Head Homecoming Director Jake Laxton AH2085 at jakelaxton01@gmail.com or (580) 235-2819 if you can help with borrowing any equipment listed above. We do not want to add financial strain to any alumni, so please only reach out if you can help us acquire equipment without any purchases necessary. Your support could play a large role in helping us bring home the trophy on October 28! Thank you again for staying connected with Alpha Eta.
