P H I K A P PA TAU 2 The spring semester is underway, and the brothers of Alpha Chi have full schedules as they continue to excel academically, philanthropically, and professionally. ACADEMICS AND PHILANTHROPY We are proud to share that our hard work has paid off, as we have achieved a 0.13 increase in our chapter GPA from last semester. In addition, our dedication to our community allowed us to raise more than $2,800 for the SeriousFun Children's Network in the fall. CREATING LEADERS In January, Ethan Rogers '21, Jack Flower '20, Griffin Rogers '20, and Sumner Bass '21 attended the Phi Kappa Tau Zenith Institute in Fort Worth, Texas. While there, they met with Phi Tau chapters across the nation to learn skills and share strategies for the year ahead. • More than 75% of our members are involved in organizations around campus, and over half have jobs. Many of our brothers are also in professional development programs this semester. • Brother Gunner James '20 is currently working at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah, Georgia. He is part of a team that designs, develops, and manufactures some of the world's most advanced aircraft. • Parker Lowery '20 is spending the spring at Brasfield and Gorrie Construction, gaining valuable experience while working to establish sub-contractors as they prepare to start various projects across the southeast. • Remy Hallett '19 is completing an internship at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Island, Georgia. He is responsible for planning operations for upcoming events, including member-guest events, club championships, and collegiate and professional tour events. • Dylan Overby '21 is currently interning with OptimaEd, an education company that hosts the first chartered and accredited virtual reality school in Florida. Dylan's role is to develop and animate virtual-reality lessons for students in grades K-8. He is playing a vital role in the development of this innovative technology and helping to shape the future of education. • Collier Rogers '20 is working in parts-quality engineering for Nissan Motor Corporation in Canton, Mississippi. These individuals are all excelling in their respective fields, and their hard work and dedication are contributing to the success of the companies and organizations for which they are working. Our brothers are exemplifying the ideals of Phi Kappa Tau every day, and we are delighted with their success.
