From Mike Parcelli of Meet In Q: Through your generosity, we set a new record this year and the prior two years each, for the largest private donations in the history of the Food Bank. So many Q'ers and Quartzsite locals and vendors helped us make this happen. I know that I'm going to miss a few and I apologize up front but a short list of those that made a difference: Joanne Bess, owner of the Pink Pig in Tyson Wells and Elinore, owner of Mama Bear in Tyson Wells for working tirelessly and recruiting many merchants in Tyson Wells in our effort. John Quartzsite, (John Castro) owner of Branding Iron BBQ & Burgers for helping with QES STEAM Club our Halloween Party. Shanana Rain Golden-Bear and Becky John- stone of the Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Bureau. Lois A Dupre, President of the Food Bank & Vic- tor Stoe, manager of the Food Bank for assisting us in so many ways, all along the way. Nancy Nichols of the Quartzsite Improvement Associa- tion (QIA) and last but not least, my good friend, Co-Admin of Meet in Q and leader of this year's effort, Miles Robertson (Doc) and his wonderful wife Brecinda Robertson , who to- gether were the vision, backbone, tireless workers and glue that kept us going and made it happen. Thanks to one and all! Successful Fundraisers for Quartzsite Food Bank Russ of RVerTV, Lectric Bike, and Tyson Wells Gift Store organized a raffl e for a new Lectric Bike. Tick- ets were sold at Tyson Wells Gift Store in January. CONGRATS to ROD BIG, THE WINNER Of the Lectric 2.0 Raffl e! Generous do- nations raised over $2700 for the Quartzsite Food Bank.
