On with the show
The Fayetteville Camellia Club will host its 75th annual camellia show at Cape Fear
Botanical Garden on March 4. The show will include a plant sale. Camellia lovers can
bring their blooms to the garden from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Judging will start at 10 a.m.
The club provides display cups and entry forms. Competitors will be instructed to
fill the cup with water, place their freshest bloom in the cup, put a leaf or two with
the bloom, then come back at 1 p.m. to learn about prizes awarded.
