AARP Tax aid Quartzsite- After a three year pause the Quartzsite Quilt Show is back. "Quilting from the Q" Quilt Show presented by the Quartzsite Quilters Guild is scheduled for Feb- ruary 3 & 4, 2023. The show will be held at the Quartzsite Senior Center on 40 Moon Mountain Avenue on Friday from 9-4 and Saturday from 9-2. Quilt entries are open to every- one with categories for large, me- dium, and small quilts, art quilts, wall hangings, fashion and home decorative. You can pick up entry forms prior to the event during our meetings on Tuesdays between 8- 3. Quilt entries for the show will be accepted on Thursday, February 2, between 11-noon. There is a $2.00 admission fee and door prizes will be given out all day. Raffl e tickets will be available for the string quilt made by club mem- bers. A Boutique will be setup with handmade items by our members and other sewing related items for sale. Vendors will have booths set up selling fabric and sewing no- tions.
