MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR A 2023 REUNION T he 1960s pledge classes are planning a reunion for August 9-10, 2023, in downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota, at the Hilton Garden Inn. A block of rooms has been reserved and plans are underway. Email information has been sent to those who had email addresses available. We know that we were not able to reach everyone, so we are encouraging you to reach out to your pledge class and spread the word. To obtain details, please call Linda Eagan '65 at (605) 370-4672 or email leagan15594@earthlink.net. This group gathered in Rapid City in July 2014. Sixty women attended that event. Donna Heggelund Jensen '66 described that event best: "This was the most amazing weekend. Some of us hadn't seen each other in over 45 years, but we were able to pick up where we left off. Amazingly, everyone looks the same—well, in our hearts anyway. Once an Alpha Xi, always an Alpha Xi." Ginny Kannenberg Moser '02 joined the Epsilon housing corporation board in November as the chapter life liaison. Ginny graduated in December 2005 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. She lives in Yankton, S.D., with her Lambda Chi Alpha husband, Nicholas Moser, and their fur child, Zoey. They enjoy all the outdoor activities that Yankton has to offer. She has taught kindergarten in the past and is currently teaching second grade. Danielle Knutson '08 had her tweet featured in the Quill of Alpha Xi Delta. Danielle wanted to have her eyebrows microbladed before chemo and, without asking, her sorority sisters paid for it. This October, Dany was married, and her sisters purchased a custom wig that was made for her wedding day. Lynae Tucker Chellew '12 was crowned Mrs. Iowa and competed in the Mrs. America Pageant in Las Vegas in August. Nancy Fregoso '14 was recognized as one of the University of South Dakota's 30 under 30 Honorees. Nancy is a middle school counselor and recruitment coordinator for the school counseling program for Des Moines Public Schools. She received her bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degree in school counseling from USD. Kendra Dale '13 joined Mindful Connections LLC in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, as a licensed clinical social worker in private practice. She has worked extensively to support people through the grief process and is trained in EMDR, among other treatments. Alumnae Updates (Continued from page 3) SAVE THE DATE
