The group meets from October through early April. If you decide to join the group dues are $10 per year and $10 to join the Senior Center. Everyone is welcome, bring your sewing machine or hand sewing project. There are irons & ironing boards available and cutting tables with mats and rulers for your use. Participate in some or all of our activities from weekly show & tell of your quilting projects, classes, weekly drawings from our sewing goodie basket, make a challenge block and be entered to win a set of blocks, in house yard sale where you can sell your extra fabric or sewing notions and of course purchase oth- ers goodies, make a quilt to donate to a charitable group and just hang out and sew with a friendly group who love quilting. The highlight of our season is the annual "Quilt from the Q" quilt show, scheduled for February 3 & 4, 2023. Entries are open to everyone. For details and entry forms please stop by on Tuesday. Our annual quilt raffl e this year is a scrappy string quilt. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00 and are for sale during our meetings. The quilt will also be displayed at the QIA craft show January 7, 2023, and tickets will be available for purchase. The drawing for the quilt will be February 4 at the conclusion of quilt show. The group selects organizations yearly for chari- table donations and in previous years have made donations to the Senior Center, Food Bank, Carole's Closet and Quartzsite Fire Department.
