T o even consider recruiting prospective members in August 2025, we must plan now. The MOU requires that a plan outlining an intent to return be submitted to KU no less than six months prior to the proposed return date. Presumably, this will be a collaborative effort between KU, the Fraternity, and local alumni. In addition, a Chapter Advisory Board must be reconstituted, consisting of at least four local alumni who have no connection to the membership when the charter was withdrawn in August 2022. Training for the CAB will be provided by Fraternity staff. Locally trained alumni, in conjunction with the Fraternity staff, will need to assist with the recruitment process prior to recruiting new members as well as during the first two years after the chapter is recognized. Lastly, most of the current members of House Corporation all came of age before the internet was "invented" and would welcome volunteers who don't know a world without the internet. If you have an interest in volunteering for any of these, or possibly other opportunities, please contact B. Scott Tschudy '80 at bstschudy@martinpringle.com, Jim Handy '81 at jimhandy@ reecenichols.com, or Larry Winter '77 at kuedgar@yahoo.com.
