A lot can happen in 50 years; just ask Murray Duggins. When he started in the real estate industry in 1972, he couldn't have

the United Companies, and they quickly became one of the top developers in the state of North Carolina. They have done it all in

high-rises, commercial property, and apartment complexes. These varied experiences helped Murray and the United Companies
become one of the top developers and managers of affordable housing in the state of North Carolina.
Led by Murray and his son Murray Odom Duggins Jr., who joined the family business in 2012, the United Companies celebrates
nearly 50 years of business while looking forward to the next 50 years as they continue to maintain their existing housing portfolio
