MOONBALL AND GIRLS ON THE RUN Each fall, our chapter holds our annual philanthropy event, Moonball. This sand volleyball tournament is open to everyone on campus, and our members get involved as team coaches, referees, fans, and more! This year's event was held on October 2, and 16 teams signed up to participate. Sigma Alpha Epsilon won the entire tournament and returned the prize money back to our chapter to add to the amount raised for Girls on the Run. Moonball is always a blast, and it is great to interact and bond with members of other campus organizations. Our sisters will attend the official Girls on the Run race of the semester on December 3. They will set up a happy hair station to get the runners race ready, help at water stations during the race, cheer the runners on as they reach the finish line, and celebrate the young girls' overall hard work in reaching their accomplishments for this part of their race season. HOMECOMING 2022 Homecoming is another beloved tradition of ours, and this year, our chapter is paired with Delta Tau Delta. Events will include a blood drive, service events, dance and skit performances, and house decorations held in Greek Town. This is truly one of our favorite times of the year because we get to further our friendship with another Greek organization, serve and give back to the community that gives us so much, and appreciate the hard work and creativity of each pairing's products. This semester, we hope to build upon the following areas: Increase campus involvement through participation in clubs, activities, intramural sports, etc. It is exciting to see our members find joy in other activities. Improve cumulative GPA. As learning is one of our core values, we set high academic standards for ourselves. In recent years, we have encouraged scholarly behavior on our members so they understand the value and importance of academics. Serve the Columbia community. The city welcomes students from Mizzou each year, and we should return the favor with gratitude and service. As a sisterhood, we value the act of helping others to achieve success. Encouraging our members to give back to Columbia helps our chapter understand the value of collaboration.
