ACADEMICS We kicked off last semester honoring the academic achievements of our members with our semi-annual scholarship dinner. It was especially noteworthy because we celebrated Gamma Phi placing third in grades out of all Greek organiza ons. SFL AWARDS BANQUET AND SIGMA CHAPTER ACCOLADES In March, I was joined by Payton Newell '19, Gabby Findley '21, and Diana Zarda '82 in a endance at the annual SFL awards banquet. We were thrilled that Gamma Phi received an award in every category: academic achievement, member development and educa on, community awareness, risk reduc on and management, and leadership and campus engagement. MOONBALL SUCCESS We were excited to bring back Moonball in April—a campus tradi on (and favorite philanthropy event to many) that has been dormant for the last few years due to COVID- 19. The event this year was sand volleyball, and over a dozen teams par cipated. The team from Phi Kappa Psi, coached by Peri Schwanke '20, came out on top and took home the trophy. This outstanding event has already received interest from prospec ve teams for next spring! We made memories that will last a life me, and I cannot wait to go back," Annie Gurne '19 shared. 2022 PLEDGE CLASS In August, Sigma welcomed the members of the 2022 pledge class.
