She was born on March 23, 1944 to Robert Earl and Opal Mae Little in San Bernadino, California. The family moved to Compton, Calif. where she attended George Washington Elementary School. When her father died in 1956, the family moved to Norwalk, Calif. where she fi nished school. She always loved music and was part of the "Little Folks" family band as a child. The family moved to Oregon where her mother re- married. She lived with her brother Ralph Little in Roseburg, Oregon and worked at the Roseburg Lum- ber Company. Later she moved to Springfi eld, Or- egon where she met her husband- to-be Frank C. Fleming. They were married in August 1977 when they both worked at Roseburg Lumber Co. She was elected as Shop Stew- ard there for the Union. She went to beauty school in Eugene, Oregon and worked at the J.C. Penny Beau- ty Shop at Valley River Center. Later she went back to the wood industry and worked at Trust Joyce Lumber Co. in Veneta, Oregon. When she and Frank retired, they bought a motorhome and trav- eled for a while, until settling in Quartzsite, Arizona. Soon the "Little Sisters" was formed. She sang the high tenor part and harmony. The "Little Sis- ters" with Owana, made their fi rst CD here in Arizona called "Christ- mas in the Desert. Frank died in 2004 and 2 years later she met John Washington. He was a musician also and worked with the "Little Sisters" sometimes. She loved gardening and took a Master Class and became a Master Gardener. She loved painting rocks. She was diagnosed with breast can- cer and eventually it matastasized to the liver and beyond in 2020, which took her life. A Celebration of Life will be held later in the fall when more of her friends get here at the Alliance Church in Quartzsite. She is survived by two brothers Ralph Little in Sutherlin, Oregon; Terry Clements (Gyspy) in Sparks, Nev.; three sisters Thursa "Cook- ie" Shannon and Margaret Hance in Quartzsite, Ariz.; and Roberta "Bobbi" (Ken) Harms in Sutherlin, Oregon.
