This year, small businesses need community support more than ever and we have decided to bring some needed joy to Quartzsite shopping with a Small Business Business BINGO! The Chamber will be open on Small Business Saturday, November 26th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The communi- ty is encouraged to attend and pick up their free Shop Small tote bag, enjoy a cup of coffee or juice and grab a treat before going shopping around town. The object is for the community shopper to visit and participate in enough businesses/promotions to earn a BINGO. The completed BIN- GO card needs to be returned to The Quartzsite Chamber offi ce or mail- box no later than noon on Satur- day December 10th to be entered in a drawing. The winner will receive a Christmas Basket fi lled with delightful goodies from participating businesses! Why Shopping Local Matters Buying local boosts our local econ- omy. Small Business Saturday® is on the Saturday after Thanksgiving to encourage people to Shop Small and bring more holiday shopping to small businesses. SKYHAWK BAND featuring Sonja Bartel on piano, trumpet and vocals, Norm Sharp on rhythm guitar and vocals, Cook- ie Shannon on bass guitar and vocals, John Gibson on violin, fiddle and vocals and Wayne Walker on drums are back in Quartzsite for the season. We play EVERY FRIDAY NIGHT at the Quartzsite Senior Center starting November 11. We also play at Brenda RV every 2nd Wednesday starting November 9, 2022.
