Jack Engel '23 receives a scholarship award from the Sigma Chi Foundation. H appy fall to everyone! As you will see, Gamma Sigma Chapter is on an unbelievable roll. Our Foundation continues to support our collegiate brothers along the path. • In April, we held our inaugural leadership speaker session at the Lowder School of Business. Dr. Jay Gogue was interviewed by David Bell '88 and gave the members plenty of great advice and insight. We also presented scholarship awards to four deserving undergraduates and hosted them for dinner that evening at Ariccia at the Auburn Conference Center. We look forward to continuing the leadership speaker series this fall. • Your Gamma Sigma Chapter received the Peterson Significant Chapter Award for the third time in a row at the Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop in August. e Peterson Award recognizes chapters that achieve excellence in all operations, including academics, philanthropy, recruitment, and ritual performance. • Finally, at Derby Days this year, our chapter raised over $74,000 to support the Huntsman Cancer Foundation. ey finished 11th in donations of all Sigma Chi chapters across the country and were invited to attend the Huntsman Foundation retreat in Salt Lake City as a result. Gamma Sigma is heading in a great direction, and your financial assistance is important to the chapter's current and future success. ere are still many things we need to do to support active and future brothers and ensure that their Sigma Chi experience is as meaningful as it can be at Auburn. Our foundation is healthy, and we thank you for your support and encouragement.
