Every year in October, Subaru shows
their love of pets during their annual Subaru
Loves Pets month. It's part of their ongoing
commitment to help shelter dogs find loving
homes – especially those with special needs
like the older, deaf, blind, and "different"
dogs that they lovingly call the "Underdogs."
Subaru will celebrate their National Make
A Dog's Day on October 22. And they
encourage all dog lovers to do something
extra special for their dogs that day.

According to the ASPCA®, each year
about 6.3 million animals enter shelters. At
Subaru, they are committed to helping all
animals — including those in shelters — stay
safe and healthy. Subaru is proud to have
donated over $30 million to support the
adoption, rescue, transport, and health of
more than 250,000 animals.
Locally, Adventure Subaru works with
organizations like Big Paws of the Ozarks,
the Animal League of Washington County,
and the Washington County Animal
Shelter. For Big Paws, they host a pet
supply donation drive and cover the cost of
adoption fees during the month of October.
