A lan Kluis #1041 was recognized as Lambda's Man of the Year at Founder's Day 2022. Al grew up on a farm in southwest Minnesota, where he was active in 4-H and FFA. He joined Alpha Gamma Rho as a member of the Evasive Eight pledge class in 1971, serving as VNR-Membership for two years. He was elected to Lambda's alumni board in the late '70s, serving a term as its president. Al started his career with the Minnesota Soybean Growers Association and subsequently founded several grain brokerage businesses. He is currently managing director of Kluis Commodity Advisors and Kluis Commodity Publishing. Al and his wife, Lynn, have four children and one grandson. O n July 9, 2022, five foursomes of Lambda brothers met for a golf outing and social at the Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan, Minnesota. The event was a scholarship fundraiser for the College of Food, Agriculture, and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS). Michael Berglund #1061 organized the event and welcomes more participants next year! 1. Initiate 18 new members this school year. 2.
