During the tax-free shopping days, shoppers can visit the yellow school bus parked in front of the Walmart store and drop off donations of schools supplies that will be given to in Rutherford County. Donation hours are Friday and Saturday, 9:00am to 7:00 pm and Sunday, noon to 6:00 pm. As you shop for your school supplies, please consider purchasing a little extra for children who can't afford to buy them. Every child deserves to start school with the tools needed to learn! Suggested items include ruled notebook paper, pencils, folders, colored pencils, crayons, marble composition books, erasers, glue sticks, pencil pouches and backpacks.
