The BLM has received a military land withdrawal application from the Army, requesting a 22,000-acre addition to the YPG near Yuma, Arizona, as a safety buffer for air delivery testing on existing drop zones within the current range boundary. Election Dates - Voter registration Primary Election Results Town of Quartzsite held a primary election for Town Council positions. There are 1,723 registered voters in district 58.1 and 64.1. Number of ballots cast were 1,251. Once the method of calculation pre- scribed in A.R.S. § 9-821.01(D) has been applied, the results are as follow: 4-year seats (3 available): Incum- bents Lynda Goldberg and Loretta Warner won their seats on the Town Council. Sam Saxton and Randy Smith will proceed to the General Election on November 8th to elect one. 2-year seats (2 available): Devyn Rosner won one of the two open seats. There will be runoff between incumbent Karey Amon and Col- leen O'Meara Nov. 8th General Election. Number of Votes received: 4-year term: Lynda Goldberg re- ceived 251 votes. Loretta Warner received 242 votes. Randy Smith received 188 votes. Sam Saxton re- ceived 188 votes. Richard Freese re- ceived 151 votes. Leo Stiles received 120 votes. 2- year term: Devyn Rosner received 260 votes. Karey Amon received 196 votes. Colleen O'Meara received 135 votes. Dennis Vosper received 104 votes. Robert "Gunny" St. Germain received 86 votes. Steve Schue re- ceived 45 votes. The General Election will take place on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Polling place is at the Quartzsite Community Center, 295 E. Chan- dler St., Quartzsite.
