THE NUMBERS Earned the starting left
tackle position and went on to receive all-state
honors last season after joining the team less
than a month before preseason workouts began.
… Committed to Arkansas and had offers from
Georgia, Michigan State, Oregon and a number
of other Division I schools. … Graded out at
83 percent for the season with 60 knockdown
blocks, including an 84 percent grade and
13 knockdowns during the game against
Fayetteville. … Also saw time on the defensive
line during goal-line situations.
THAT'S WHAT HE SAID "My team has
helped me a lot that I didn't know, and my
coaches have taught me the steps I needed to
do. I never experienced anything like this in
California, and I love it. I thank everybody and
my coach for it, and thank God for it. It's easier
this year, and I want to get my team a state
championship. I want to help them in any way
I can do it."
