It was a break-in at his father's real estate office that encouraged founder Dick Gill to get into the security business. When Gill installed a burglar alarm as a preventive measure for his dad, he realized he had the passion and natural skills for protecting personal property. The company's motto, "protecting what you can't replace," was born on April 1, 1983. A simple alarm system for his father has grown into a multi-million-dollar business offering security, cameras and fire protection for Southeastern North Carolina with its headquarters in Fayetteville. Dick Gill is the company visionary, and Alan Buffaloe, who joined the firm in 2009, provides the business acumen that has led the company to explore new revenue streams based on the latest in technology.
