"I think the first key functionality is the search tool that enables you to find what you are looking for—be it a barber shop, a new restaurant, or a plumber," said Steve Harari, President of the Gravette Chamber of Commerce. "The second functionality is jobs. All Chamber businesses can post their open jobs." All the businesses in Gravette and Hiwasse can be included in the app, but only Chamber member businesses can list job openings or post promotions and special offers like two-for-one specials. "At this time about 20 businesses are promoting hot deals of some sort on the app," Steve said. "And we have about 20 businesses currently listing one or more jobs." Last but not least, the Gravette app includes all of the current events going on in town. "So, there might be three categories of users," Steve noted. "They could be a resident from the community, they could be a business owner wishing to promote their business, or they could be a visitor—someone coming down highway 49 looking up what to do in the area." Steve says over 500 people have already downloaded the app, which was launched in February of 2022. "We could easily have 1000 - 1200 downloads by the end of this calendar year," Steve said. "We couldn't be happier." The Gravette app is accessible from either the Android or the Apple stores.
