professional engineer, petroleum geologist,
and mining project manager. He lives in The

Hernando, Miss., after 58 years in Louisiana.

Bert Jones '59 retired from Boeing in 1998
after 36 years of working in space programs
including Apollo, space shuttles, and space
stations. He lives in Bremen, Ala.

Jim Ormon '60 recently celebrated the birth
of his first great-grandchild, Emerson along with
the Mississippi State baseball team winning
the national title. He lives in Starkville, Miss.

David B. Allen '67 sold his interest in Ashford
Advisors LLC in January. He plans to remain
active with the firm as a life insurance manager
and consultant. David lives in Jackson, Miss.

Tom H. Raggett Jr. '67 lives in Collierville,
Tenn., and is enjoying retirement by spending

Jasper, Ga., by the North Georgia Mountains.

M. David Mars '70 lives in Jackson, Miss. He
enjoys flying three days a week, joining the Pike
Duck Hunt, and watching his grandsons grow up.
Erle "Bubby" Johnston III '72 is retired but
working part-time for Shady Deal Sunglasses.
