Burgos, a Fayetteville native, trained as a nurse in the Army and is currently a senior IT consultant and information assurance network manager for the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort Bragg. Her son, Adrian Burgos, and his partner, Audriaunna Kitterman, manage the wellness center's day-to-day operations. Hilda Burgos decided to open a wellness center after returning from Afghanistan. Her purpose in life has been to serve others, and she wanted to provide a space where people could heal.
