Welco m e, Dave! We would like to welcome Dave Jensen '18 to Gamma Upsilon Alumni Corporation (GUAC). Dave graduated in 2018 with a Management and Leadership degree. While at Bradley, he was heavily involved in numerous extracurricular activities, strongly representing Theta Chi. Some included serving two terms on the Interfraternity Council, Student Body President, Student Aide, Student Admissions Representative, and 2016 Homecoming King. In the chapter, he served as Philanthropy Chair, Formal Chair, and Vice President of Health and Safety. Dave currently works at American Express Global Business Travel as a Business Development Manager. He resides in Oakbrook Terrace with his girlfriend. In his free time, he mentors a Chicago Public School junior, aiding with everything from college applications and financial aid to personal development. One of Dave's passions is travel, and his favorite place to visit is Hawaii. Besides travel, he loves to spend quality time with friends and family, read, and enjoy new dining experiences. We're excited to have Dave join the board, serving as Director of Fundraising and Alumni Relations. His experience with fundraising began in 2014, when he chaired his high school's winter band fundraiser, raising over $10,000 for the band program. At Bradley, Dave has experience working with numerous consulting firms while he served as both Student Body Vice President and Student Body President. Over the course of two years, he worked collaboratively with university leadership to completely redesign and develop the University's Strategic Plan. This involved hands-on work with student, faculty, and administrative focus groups, collecting and evaluating feedback, and providing significant input regarding resource allocation. Finally, while in Theta Chi, Dave served as Philanthropy Chairman, raising funds for the USO by hosting restaurant nights, donation matching campaigns, and creating the philanthropy week event, Theta Chi Hot Dog Delivery Service. The best way to reach Dave is by email at dave.jensen618@gmail.com. DAVE JENSEN '18 JOINS THE GUAC AS DIREC TOR OF FUNDRAISING AND ALUMNI RELATIONS
