Bob "Ruff" Hutnick '71 recently lunched separately with Jim "Munger" Banghart '69 and his pin mate/wife Annie, and Jeff Cooper '74. Paul Cosgrave '72 and his wife are currently enjoying a three-month European vacation, including a cruise to Italy with stops in Croatia. Alan "HJ" Hanbury '74 plans to celebrate his 70th birthday with his wife by taking trips to Scotland, St. Andrew's Golf Course, and Hawaii. ANNOUNCEMENTS Bob "Beo" Bedard '75 and Ruff Hutnick '71 are planning on hosting a BYOB cocktail party at Beo's Masonic Temple (19 3rd Street) in downtown Troy at 7 p.m. on Friday, October 7, after a 5 p.m. dinner at Bootleggers. Satbir Nayar '85 joined the Phi Epsilon Phi board on January 18. Satbir is local to Schenectady and has already been instrumental in coordinating repair work at the Pomeroy Chapter House. Six of the seven surviving brothers attended, including Bob "Barney" Shortle '74, Ed Youngkin '74, HJ Hanbury '74, Jeff Cooper '74, Steve Embler '74, and Bob "Duke" Wilson '74. Shaz Majdi '75 has his son running for the 100th District seat of the West Virginia House of Delegates in May. Darrin "Davis" Russell '90 was the 2022 winner of the Delta Psi March Madness Basketball Bracket run by Bill "Evil" Hanson '73. Several brothers from the late '80s and early '90s recently got together in San Antonio for their annual Boozefest. Gerard Grassi '91 was recently named Chief Financial Officer of Verizon's NBI Business Unit. Several brothers, including Mark Skarulis '96, Toby Denman '99, Colin Haynes '10, and Chris Ratti '00, got together to bowl in memory of brother Rui Soares '95, who entered Chapter Eternal in 2019. Mark Skarulis '96 has been named VP Metaverse at PicPocket-Labs Inc. Pete Wurst '04 started a new position as an IT manager – Business Applications and Integrations at HYDAC Technology Corporation. Chad Ruhle '10 and his wife, Colleen, are expecting their first child in the upcoming months. Runey Ghosh '12 (who formerly headed the renowned Brown Note and Friends) and Phil McGrath '12 have teamed up with another pal to form a band. Adequate Phil has been performing around Albany and recently released a soon-to-be hit single. David Dausman '13 has just been promoted to Captain in the United States Air Force. Oskari Rautiainen '15 has been promoted to Principal Software Engineer at Splunk. Jay Cady '14 married Lauren Hubbert in April. The ceremony was officiated by Andrew Stevens '12.
