Post 769 in Quartzsite, AZ. Their goal is to raise aware-
ness and bring light to the alarming numbers of deaths
by suicide among soldiers and veterans. be riding
across the country for 22 days to raise awareness and to
let Veterans know that they are not forgotten.

sponsor announced the winners:
LL Team won for best 1 hour. Team Fire in the Hole won
for hottest. And team Some Like it Mild won tastiest
(due to an impromptu rock, paper/scissors tie breaker)
and Best overall.
BELOW: May 5, 2022- Youngsters from Quartzsite After
School Program help plant trees at Town Hall to cel-
ebrate Arbor Day. Kids learned about how to care for
drought tolerant plants and hear Mayor Norm Simpson
read the Arbor Day Proclamation. All Council members
were also in attendance to support the local youth.
