First plaques for monuments arrive # 1 RV Channel RVerTV.tv Email: rvertv@gmail.com # 1 By Joanne Winer Last March we fi nished the stucco work (or almost all of it) on the six monuments that were built in the Heroes Bell Gardens at Celia's Rainbow Gardens in the Quartzsite Town Park. We have been doing fundraisers to help pay for "dressing up" these beau- tiful monuments that honor the Military, Fire and Law Enforcement, 9/11, other fi rst responders and heroes, and one for service animal. This fi rst order was for the six branches of the military and are 10" plates made of aluminum. They are gorgeous!! They are going to be kept at the Post until we get all the others and install them all up at once. These plaques are just the fi rst of many that are needed to fi nish these mon- uments and we need fundraisers and donations to help get 'er done!! Please help if you can by making a donation or supporting the fundraisers. These fi rst six plaques were the result of bake sales, yard sales, and the motorcycle rodeo sponsored by the Brotherhood of the Rogue Riders and the VFW Post 769. A special thanks to Commander Wendt of VFW Post 769 and Nicci Collier of the Town of Quartzsite for all your help! Thanks to everyone who helped get us started!! Let's keep going and Get 'Er Done!!
