s we shi our focus from the completed
capital campaign to our new initiatives,
we are excited to introduce an annual giving

A
lpha Nu held our 138th
annual Turkey Pull on
December 17, and it was a great
success! We returned to the chapter house this
year (last year's venue was the Jayhawk Club), and
it was decorated with loads of Douglas Fir. e
seniors and freshman were seated in the dining
hall, and the juniors and sophomores dined in
the front living room (colloquially known as the
"Useless Room" by the active chapter).
e Hutt looked beautiful with all the greenery
and smelled quite pleasant. e greenery
continued to the front of the
house with spirals around the
columns and a wreath on the front.
Lastly, the basketball court was decorated with a
dance floor and band stage and leading into it was a
wall of greenery that was perfect for taking photos.
We had three initiated classes at Turkey Pull,
along with the newest pledge class and several
guests, including our housemother (Mom Moss)
and Bob Swan '64 and his wife.
