Sugarman grew up in her mom's Northern
California jewelry design studio and store,
evolving her childhood roots into a career-
shaping apprenticeship in 2016. She attended
the Gemology Institute of America in 2017
and went on to establish Onyx Armory.
For the past ve years, she has built, evolved,
and grown the brand into a thriving business
that's championed by the local San Diego
community and beyond. Her designs and
benchwork combine intricate detail, ne stone
setting, mixed metals, and engraving.
Olivia Sugarman is the custom jeweler, metalsmith, and
