beef section 4: clover bud beef heifer show This department is open to exhibitors ages 5-8 as defined in the Benton County Fair General Livestock Rules. All general livestock rules of the fair apply to this department. In addition, the exhibitors in this section are subject to the following regulations. 1. Open to all Benton County clover buds that are ACTIVE 4-H members in Good Standing at the time of nomination/ entry as well as at time of fair. 2. Animals must be owned by exhibitor. 3. All the same requirements for the beef heifer show will still apply: Females only, registered animals will need to fit into a Registered Breeding Beef Class with Registration Papers. Commercial Heifers will need to be 400# minimum weight. 4. Class breakdowns will not necessarily be by breed, age, or weight. Class breakdowns will be determined by the superintendent to fit the exhibitor's situation and needs. 5. All animals will be inspected INSIDE the trailer prior to entering the barn area.
