Swine - Junior Commercial Gilt Show
1. Commercial gilts or any gilt that is
crossbreed or purebred that is ineligible
for the breed show may be entered.
2. A FFA Advisor or 4-H Club Leader
must sign each entry form.
3. Junior exhibitors will be limited to
two (2) entries in the Commercial Gilt
Show.
4. Gilts must be owned by exhibitor by
July 1 of the showing year.
5. Junior exhibitor for this show will be
anyone 9-18 years in 4-H, FFA or FCCLA.
6. Grand and Reserve Market Hog not
eligible for Commercial Gilt Show.
7. Commercial Gilt Weight is 170-280.
Weight breaks will be split by weight.
Swine Showmanship
1. Clover bud - All exhibitors 5-8 years
of age
2. Junior - All exhibitors 9-11 years of
age
3. Intermediate - All exhibitors 12-13
years of age
4. Senior - All exhibitors 14 years of age
or older
There will be no restriction on previous
winners in either class
