For more than fi ve years, Ed Rycraft had to use a walker to get around. He was
in constant pain and his daughter, Debbie Blank, insisted he seek treament.
Tracy Ng, D.O., of ShorePoint Medical Group in Venice, is fellowship trained
in sports medicine and arthroscopy. Although Rycraft was about to turn 85 at
the time, Dr. Ng considered him an excellent candidate for knee replacement
surgery. Dr. Ng performed robotically assisted knee replacement surgery on
Rycraft's left knee at ShorePoint Health Venice.

home the next day. His recovery was so rapid, he was able to have the right
knee replaced just two months after the left.
Rycraft rides his bike three miles every day and takes daily walks to rebuild the
strength in his legs. "I would recommend Dr. Tracy and the hospital in a heart
beat," said daughter Debbie Blank.
