Heroes Appreciation Ceremony March 5, 2022
Parker, AZ - Tuesday morning, March 15, 2022, the non-profit organization Saving A Hero's Place
delivered an Honor Chair that will displayed at the La Paz County Sheriff's Office. Saving a Hero's Place
creates custom wooden Honor Chairs to memorialize the fallen by saving their seat and honoring their
memory at no cost. When an Officer makes the ultimate sacrifice, his/her presence is missed. The Honor
Chair is placed in the roll call room as a reminder that even though they are not there physically, the Of-
ficer will always be with you as you head out to the battles, carrying on the watch... in their honor.
La Paz County Sheriff's Office (LPCSO) Sgt. Michael Rudd died on October 11, 2021 during a pursuit on
Interstate 10, near Quartzsite, AZ.
End of watch does not mean end of legacy. Sgt. Michael Rudd, you're place is now saved. Sheriff' Wil-
liam Ponce said, "Thank you for honoring Sgt. Michael Rudd and all the Heroes."
