Jack C. of Bella Vista grew
up with two furry friends by
his side, Taz and merlin. Taz is
a six-year-old Blue Heeler mix
and Merlin is an eight-year-old
cardigan corgi. Taz and merlin
belong to Jack's grandpa,
Steve, and his soon-to-be
new grandma, Paula. Merlin
chose his family when he kept
escaping the neighbor's yard,
wandering into their home,
and one day never left. Taz was
rescued when he was found
running wild on Highway 71
and now both he and Merlin
are living fabulous, spoiled
lives!
Taz is super smart and loves
to learn so Jack is always trying
to teach him something new,
but he's a stubborn one so
Jack has to start teaching him
again every time he visits. Taz
also has a knack for sneaking
food so they have to store all
the goodies high enough, so he
won't climb to get them. Taz
loves to herd so they love to
watch him try to lead Jack and
the family around the yard and
house.
Merlin is fun-loving and
active so Jack enjoys playing
with him in the backyard, but
Merlin is also the snuggler
so Jack makes sure to give
him extra cuddles, which Taz
can get jealous of and tries
to nuzzle in on. merlin has
incredible hearing and often
alerts the family to things no
one else can hear. He lets
his family know when deer
are wandering around the
property so they can snap a
picture and when they come
up to the fence line, Merlin
runs and plays along the fence
with them. Jack, Taz, and
Merlin are a tremendous trio!
