Take Advantage of This Unique Opportunity Tri Dea Offers miniMBA Program Tri Dea Offers miniMBA Program WINTER 2022 INSIDE: Celebrating Theta Omega's Recent Accomplishments p. 2 • Chapter Officers p. 3 THETA OMEGA UNIVERSITY OF KANSAS T heta Omega is lucky to have had Janine Gracy '82. She's true to her roots, passionate about everything she does and loyal to those around her. When she joined Tri Delta, she found herself picking up valuable skills that she uses every day. Between holding office positions, building relationships, managing projects and learning dining etiquette, Janine learned how to be a remarkable leader. "Mom Strout was adamant about etiquette at dinner. If we did something wrong, she was quick to point it out; her attention to detail helped me save face during many business dinners," she shared. Janine describes her current and past career prospects as "interesting and inspiring." She relocated to Lawrence before the pandemic to serve as Trinity In-Home Care's executive director. Trinity provides non-medical in-home care to support elderly or disabled individuals. Being a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Trinity relies on fundraising to help Douglas County's most vulnerable people. Serving her community is instilled in Janine. In addition to her career path, Janine was Theta Omega's House Corporation president for several years. When reflecting on her proudest accomplishments, Janine shared, "When I was on the board, the house had no air conditioning. I knew it was a recruitment issue that needed solving, so I was thrilled to be a part of the change." One thing Janine has learned over the years is that sisterhood is at every corner. "I joined alumnae chapters JANINE GRACY '82 STAYS CONNECTED WHEREVER SHE CAN The pledge class of 1982. wherever I landed," she shared. From Wichita to Denver to Lawrence, Janine stays connected.
