THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Two small words that really have so much meaning to us. We were again this year so blessed by our generous community at all our Christmas events. Between Our An- gel Tree children, assisted by QFD Firefi ghter Savannah and our San- ta Event we served over 150 kids. So many of you have earned your Angel wings this blessed season of giving. Elves Jan and her assistant Sandi wrapped the gifts and orga- nized the bags for delivery. They were also our super shoppers that added to gift bags using the QIA Bingo monetary donation. Thanks again for your generous donation. Angel Tree children received paja- mas, slippers, socks, and or hoodies with these funds. Our Saturday Santa Event with Mr. and Mrs. Mary and Brian San- ta added a family celebration to so many families. Wide eyed happy children of all ages were excitedly greeted by Jolly Santa. Each family got a remembrance photo to take home. All the children got to select their own toys and so much more that some bags were bigger that the little kiddos. It was certainly a fun time for all of us. Our local QPD Explorers, Chad, Kaleb, and JoJo, led by QPD Ser- geant Tanakeyowma assisted with our parking lot traffi c and our morn- ing set up. Awesome job!! Our amazing Santa Event could not have been possible without all the extra set up and organization by the many elf helpers. Thank you, Elves, Beth, Bill, Carole, Carolyn & John, Cookie, Eileen, Eileen, Jan & Shep, Laura, Ruth, and Sheryl. Heather and daughter Ellie from Parents as Teachers provided fun at home family packets. Our dedicated Bell Ringers and fl ute players surpassed by last year's total by 129%, for a grand to- tal of almost $3500.00. Thank you everyone. The Brotherhood Rogue Motorcy- cle Club Toy Drive lead by Preacher John was a fun time too. Thank you to all the bikers for the boxes of new toys brought to us, the community members, the RV Parks, and the VFW Post 769 that supported their Toy Drive. You made a lot of happy children enjoy Christmas. Our Facebook page is Salvation Army Thrift Store, Quartzsite AZ. Fol- low us and you will know about our sales. We get many unusual items.
