"Like the diverse student body at AWC, we have a diverse offer- ing of scholarship opportunities. We encourage everyone to ap- ply for scholarships through our user-friendly scholarship portal," said Laura Knaresboro, AWC Foun- dation Executive Director. Current and incoming students can complete one general scholarship application to qualify for any ap- plicable scholarships awarded by the AWC Foundation. Scholarships are available in major-specifi c areas as well as for general education or transfer students. "There is often a misconception about GPA and fi nancial aid status when it comes to applying for schol- arships, but each award has different criteria. Spending 30-40 minutes of your time could unlock various scholarship opportunities. Go for it!" said Gladys Anaya, AWC Foun- dation Coordinator of Development and Alumni Relations. The AWC Foundation scholarship cycle opens Tuesday, February 15, and runs until Friday, April 1.
