"We actually own four other vacation rentals," Linda said. "It works out well because one of our properties is one door down from Cedar Lodge. We oen rent the two together for weddings or family reunions. And we also own two resorts directly across the lake from Cedar Lodge. We have a lot of flexibility and availability if Cedar Lodge is booked or too big for their needs." e Swalves also own a fih vacation rental in Noel, MO on the Elk River. Linda and Richard purchased the property in October 2020 from Dave and Sandy Berry, who, with plans to retire, approached the Swalves and asked if they'd like to buy it. e Swalves own a construction business, Swalve Enterprises LLC, and remodel hospitals, so with their experience in maintenance and construction, they felt they were an ideal fit.
