A SUCCESSFUL GOLF EVENT
Thank You to Those Who Joined!
T
he 2021 annual Beta Phi Golf Outing was a great
success. Due to a few last-minute cancellations, we
ended up with 32 golfers. The winning team was
made up of Ben Phillips '10, Mike Kristakis '86, Troy
Miller, and Craig Miller. The round was interrupted by a
brief rain shower; however, it finished with sunshine, which
is a usual occurrence for the annual outing. A dinner and
celebration following the round took place at the PIKE
house, and many ended up at Harry's to relive some of the
"good old days" and reminisce with their fellow brothers.
The date for the 2022 Golf Outing has been confirmed
for June 11 back at Purdue—make sure to mark it on your
calendars! Registration will be up after the start of the new
year at https://pikes.eventbrite.com.

e are fast approaching our 100th anniversary celebration,
scheduled for October 2022, and are still in need of
composites to complete this important project. There are
several from the 1950s and only two from the 1960s (1961 and 1968), but
the biggest era that we need help in is the period from 1987-88 through
2003-04. Take a few minutes to check your old PIKE archives, and if
you have any of these composites, please contact me. Maybe one of your
classmates has a copy, so please pass the word. These composites will
become an important archive in the history of our Chapter.

All years prior to and including 1952, 1955, 1957, 1959, 1961, 1968,
1987-88, 1988-89, 1989-90, 1990-91, 1991-92, 1992-93, 1993-94,
1994-95, 1995-96, 1997-98, 1998-99, 2000-01, 2001-02, 2002-03,
2003-04, and 2007-08.
