Vocational
Agriculture
Programs while
in Lawton,
Oklahoma. Alfred
also co-owned a
successful retail/
wholesale farm
supply business for many years. After semi-
retirement, he was the United Way director for
Muskogee, Oklahoma.
Alfred remains connected to SigEp through his
grandsons, Mike Hewitt, Oklahoma Beta '96
and Chris Hewitt, Oklahoma Beta '99. He is
immensely proud of them and ecstatic that he
was able to attend one of their initiations.
"Even though they went to the University of
Oklahoma, they have shared SigEp news with
me through their SigEp brothers," Alfred said.
Alfred plans on attending the centennial
celebration and will reconnect with his
brothers. He is most excited for the plaque
dedication of the original location of the Alpha
chapter house.
"I am very proud to have been a member of
this successful fraternity since 1946," Alfred
said. "I am very proud of the many past
accomplishments the chapter alumni have done.
Keep it up! We're doing something right."
