Sherry Miller is a family law attorney
who handles all aspects of divorce
law, including custody, child support,
alimony, property division and adop-
tions. She is also one of few attorneys
in Fayetteville who is certified in col-
laborative law.
Sherry received her undergraduate
degree in Journalism from UNC
Chapel Hill and her Juris Doctorate from NCCU law school.
Sherry has been practicing law since 1995.
Passionate about theater and the arts, Sherry has created
a short film "The Rules of Law," produced the short film "A
Million Years," and is listed as one of the editors for the Ren
and Stimpy documentary on IMDb. Sherry has served as
president of the board of directors of Cape Fear Regional
Theatre and has sponsored the 2019 True to Yourself Youth
Development Talk in partnership with the Arts Council and
The Fayetteville Cumberland Youth Council. She is currently
coaching a mock trial team at Pine Forest High School.
She and her husband Dr. Burt (Casey) Dobson have an
18-year-old son who is senior at Pine Forest High School.
