It's so much more than great shows. The Venice
Institute for Performing Arts has a mission to sustain the
local arts community through innovative educational
programs and to inspire the local community with first-
class entertainment. As the management company for the
Venice Performing Arts Center, it works with all groups
that use the space to produce, co-produce, manage and
coordinate more than 200 events each season.
The VIP Arts Academy leverages the platform provided
by the performing arts to develop sustainable career-ready
skills through experiential learning, according to a release.
"Each program inspires, teaches, and trains students in
Sarasota County, laddering the skills they learn at each
level, so that students are prepared for higher education
and the 21st-century workforce," it said.
Venice Performing Arts Center is located at 1 Indian
Ave., Bldg. 5, in Venice.
